Since 1980, Big Sun has been the heartbeat of youth soccer in Marion County! As the PREMIER soccer program in the area, we’ve proudly coached and inspired generations of young athletes to play hard, dream big, and grow both on and off the field.
We’re more than just a league—we’re a community-powered 501(c)(3) non-profit, led by a passionate Executive Board of Directors and supported by dedicated Recreational, Competitive, and Adult Boards.

Ages 5-17
Recreational soccer is ideal for both beginners and experienced players seeking a fun, supportive environment to enjoy the game.
Ages 3-5
SuperStarters is a fun, introductory recreational program for ages 3–5, held exclusively on Saturday mornings.
Various Ages
Premier is Ocala’s competitive soccer program, dedicated to helping youth players reach their highest potential through advanced training and development.
Ages Under 18
The SunLights program is a recreational soccer program for players under 18 with physical, emotional, or developmental disabilities, providing a supportive and inclusive environment to enjoy the game.
We offer adult league opportunities for players 18 years and older, providing a competitive and enjoyable environment to continue playing the game.
